Building the brand from concept to culture.
I shaped Nertified from the ground up, leading the business concept and brand planning as well as the visual identity, original IP, merchandise, event programming, and even DJ performances.
Through a distinctive visual language and a series of coffee rave events (Daydream Social), we connected café culture, music, and character IP—turning the space into a living expression of the brand and expanding its visibility beyond design audiences.

Two IPs, one connected universe.
Alongside the physical space and events, we began developing two original IPs: Nuppi – Exile from the Stars and Miracle Cure, each designed to expand through its own comic while remaining connected within a shared universe.
The goal was to move beyond character design and give each IP a living context: stories, relationships, products, and experiences that could grow together over time.
Nertified would act as their real-world agency. Fictional companies, objects, and products introduced in the comics could cross into reality as apparel, packaging, food, and collectible releases—giving audiences a physical way to enter the universe.

A distinct point of view finds its people.
Nertified remains one of the projects closest to me because it showed that people are drawn to work with a clear and unconventional identity.
What began as an unusual mix of design studio, café, music, merchandise, and original IP became a coherent world of its own, and a place where a community could recognise itself.
This model connected storytelling and commerce: the fiction generated products, and every physical release expanded the world in return.

Roxy is one of Taipei’s most influential music institutions, with roots reaching back to AC/DC, founded by Ling Wei in 1982. Across four decades and multiple generations of venues, it helped shape the city’s DJ culture, alternative music scene, and nightlife—creating spaces where music was not simply played, but shared, discovered, and lived.
